Branch Leader

North Carolina has always been home for me and as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher. Meredith College gave me the opportunity to pursue that career goal and I taught high school English in Eastern NC. Life changes brought me to Raleigh and a career in real estate allowed me to continue my love for teaching. For more than 30 years, I have had the privilege to coach and mentor sales people, challenging them to provide excellence to their clients.

My role as the Branch Leader of the Chapel Hill/Durham and Pittsboro offices allows me to blend my passion for learning with the commitment Allen Tate Realtors makes to invest in their sales team from Day One. I couldn’t have a better job. Each and every day I get to watch my team strive to provide extraordinary service to their clients.

My father taught me that serving your community through volunteerism was an expectation. I believe I have honored that by serving as chair of the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council, on the Board of Trustees at Meredith College and on the leadership team for the Orange Chatham Association of Realtors.

Having balance in your life is critical and family is most important. My husband is retired from IBM; we have three sons and a daughter-in-law who live in Raleigh and a miniature golden doodle named Connor. I love to cook, walk each day, read a good book and enjoy time with family and friends.

At Allen Tate, we are making a difference every day. We believe in giving back to community, supporting public education and helping clients achieve the American Dream of Homeownership. If you are thinking about a career in real estate or looking for an incredible Realtor, give us a call or stop by and say hello.

9 homes that will make any Fixer Upper fan jealous

We’ll go ahead and put it on record: Fixer Upper was one of our favorite shows ever. Watching abandoned or out-of-date homes have new life breathed in them will just never get old. And of course, we can all thank Chip and Jo for...
